•Abd el-Kader, Écrits spirituels. Introduction and notes by Chodkiewicz. Paris, Seuil, 1982. Essential. The Emir Abd el-Kader, 19th century Argelian national hero, besides being a warrior was also a great and profound mystic. He was buried by his own desire beside Ibn Arabi's grave, in Damascus.
